Reserve Your Seat for Luminaria

Ever since Women’s Center for Wellness began, we’ve hosted a holiday celebration every December, which is open to the public and turns out to be a lovely, heart- and spirit-filled remembering of what’s really important during the holiday season. Five years ago, we actually named the event “Luminaria,” and every year it’s had a different them…A Holiday Tapestry, The Magic of the Holidays, An Angelic Holiday…each has had its own personality and splendor. This year, Luminaria: A Winter Wonderland will take place Tuesday, Dec. 7th, 6:30-9PM at the UU Church in Milford. You must sign up in advance, as seats are limited. There’s no admission charge, but we gratefully accept donations of any size to help defray the cost. We also invite you to bring a personal care item or household item (think shampoo, hand lotion, cleaning supplies), which we deliver to the Milford Food Pantry to help the women in our community. Come alone as a gift to yourself, or invite a friend. Simply email kelly@womenscenterforwellness.org prior to Dec. 1st with the names of everyone in your party. Reserve Your Space Today for WCW’s 2011 Women’s Weekend

Coming this April, a weekend you’ll never forget!

If you’ve enjoyed WCW events in the past…the Annual Tea (which was a wonderful event last week!), Luminaria each December, or our Women’s Day events…you will love WCW’s Women’s Weekend, which takes place at Craigville Conference Center on Cape Cod each year.

Enjoy two nights at this beautiful old Cape Cod beach house with like-minded women.

While this event has been held in the fall over the past five years, we are inviting you Friday, April 29-Sunday, May 1, 2011 this time around. You enjoy two nights accommodations in a beautiful old beach house overlooking the ocean, six home cooked meals (not cooked by us : ), and thought-provoking, spirit-filling programs throughout the weekend that help you find your center and remember what is truly important in this sometimes crazy world.

The weekend costs $225 per woman for room, meals and all programming. A $125 deposit must be sent to WCW, P.O. Box 606, Milford, MA 01757 in order to reserve your spot (please make checks payable to: Women’s Center for Wellness). This weekend has been a sell-out in the past with only 20 spots available, so book your slot soon. Come alone or bring a friend…you’ll never forget the friends you make and laughter you find at this special event. Several women have asked for our weekend as a Christmas or Mother’s Day present in the past…few of us want “things” these days, however, this makes a wonderful gift that you will remember for years! All deposits must be received by Jan. 15, 2011 so that we can make our payment to the conference center on time.
